About Trinity's New Pastor

Pastor Steve Johnston has accepted the call to be Trinity’s Pastor. His first Sunday is expected to be  April 29, 2012. His Service of Installation will be the Festival of the Holy Trinity, Sunday, June 3, at 3:00 p.m.

The Call Committee was very impressed by Pastor Steve as a sincere and dedicated person who would minister to us faithfully and with good humour. Of the four persons interviewed he ranked the most consistent in the categories that the Call committee judged to be the most important.

Pastor Steve was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and was raised Presbyterian. How did he end up as a Lutheran Pastor? As he says, not too difficult a guess . . . he married a Lutheran girl. His wife Trudi is the youngest child of two German immigrants who had to travel to Edmonton to meet each other. The rest is history. Pastor Steve has a daughter Amy, from a previous marriage and she and her dad moved to Canada in February 1990. He left Belfast at age 19 to study Electronics at the University of Manchester and continued to live in England for the next 10-years. He and Trudi have been blessed with two daughters, Hannah who is 13 and Susan who is turning 12.

Annual Meeting is set for Sunday, February 19, 2012 following  worship.

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, Tuesday, February 21, from 5:30 TO 7:00 P.M. 

Spring Luncheon - Mark your calendars for March 25 and plan on staying after service for our Annual Beans & Franks Luncheon. 

Strawberry Social will be June 24

Bus Trip

This year's bus trip will be on Tuesday, July 10. Take a break travel has arranged a fun-filled day for us that includes a boat trip around Toronto Island, a buffet lunch at the Old Mill Restaurant, followed by a trip to the Dutch Mill, an out of the ordinary greenhouse and gift shop. The cost is only $81.00 per person. This trip is open only to Trinity members and their friends.  It's not too early to sign-up!!



Harvest Dinner and TLW Annual Meeting will be September 25
